Collective Intelligence

COLLECTIVE INTELLIGENCE
(Lakshay Raja)

The transmitting mindsets of realising the modern times purposeless and individual minded might become a justifiable common acceptance unless interrupted by a major event, such as the space colonisation. We were to eventually go untouched by the major wars to set us back to the approach of survival and now that it’s been some considerable decades for such an event, the probability of the next major war should rather be overruled, despite the present chaos. The astonishing population ain’t a curse or a sign of the final years but an assistance in form of the enormous intelligence to set a base to the new beginning. A matter of years that such a civilisation, or intelligence for that matter would fade the beliefs of religion, wars, rituals, principles and fears into blankness they emerged from. Though such a beginning would ask the commitment of a mindset to think and work beyond the limitations of a life span and pass any little contribution of the personal learning and understandings, for science of the untouched phenomenons further might need the collective intelligence in harmony. I see them as the explorers, clueless of the needs of a leader, time frames, sleep and to some extent, human relationships; the minds with the preferences to work, silent admirations, and expressionless love. Though the elements of the past and the present shall stay for the others to explore and live with; for certain elements bind themselves to a certain planet. If the present seems purposeless, stay… stay and observe and work. The correct arrangement of intelligence awaited long for such a time, and you, the odd, could be it’s beginning.

Dear Dreamer...

Dear Dreamer...
(Chetna Vatts)

Dear dreamer,

The night has changed, the moon that was in motion a few days back, delivered a hurricane in the sea. The storm is at its best till now and is supposed to last few more days leaving the life, in doldrums. Saplings, around the shores have merged with the land caving in life, but the trees, they are still fighting hard to see the radiating sun in a beautiful painted sky of tomorrow; you, my love are the tree that's standing erect fighting with a wish to win, to take a step ahead in future and not the saplings that gave up ghosts watching a hurricane that was powerful.

Remember that the life will make you slump in the journey you're in, but to give up on your dreams will always be a choice.

Life may not be a bed of roses at present but it was, once and will persist to be in the near future, if only you walk out of the cyclone of emotions and the turbulence overpowering you today.

The fact that I love you from the depth of everything is crystal clear but there lies another fact: YOUR DREAM. I know that more than you need me today, you need the dream because that's something which has been injecting strength in you more than I ever did.

I can watch the sky giving up on its beautiful stars and the moon. I can bear the agony of being separated from warmth of your skin but I cannot see you giving up on the life you always wanted, the dream that means so much to you. That would be something like watching your favorite star breaking up in mesmerizing sky of a cold winter night. You can neither do anything to mend nor you're the reason, but it pains your heart to an extent that you feel your veins bursting, your heartbeats going slow to stop in at any moment.

Remember, the sorrows of your life are like the impressions of your feet after bathing. At first they're bright and clear to see but they become vague with each step you take ahead and there will be a point of no impression. It's not that you lack your foot to leave behind the impression but it's the water (your feelings attached to sorrows) that’s absent now.

I wish to see you someday with your capabilities grown up every inch without an iota of fear or suppression, with the dreamer in you still alive telling me it has many more dreams to achieve.

With lots of love and trust,
Your soul.

Aesthetically Ours

Does it amaze you? What this mind does to and for us? How we know, but  fail to realise that everything about me or you, is everything BUT me and you. How everything we know is happening around us, but just doesn't affect us because we don't really focus? We, the conscious. And the consciousness. How everything is in such a harmony with everything else. How we. You and I. Have the power to be aware of the fact that everything is happening at once, yet we can relate to just one thing at a time(say), despite being aware of the millions of other actions happening around us.
And the answer was known but just to reach that answer, I borrowed a lot many mind blowing thoughts (I seemed to me moved by my own thoughts lately)

How conscious are we? I happened to be sitting on one of the top berths of the train when this thought popped up in my head. And after a little spark, I had this urge to write it down. Thankfully, I had papers but no pen. Which eventually led me to take off my headphones after removing my hoodie and solving up my hair. And I asked someone seated on the bottom berth if they had a pen. When she replied with a "wait. Let me check if I might be having one" and within some time the lady on the upper berth, parallel to me, offered me hers. And just as soon as that happened, the first lady found a pen and gave it to me as well. When I started writing about what I was struck by; you must be wondering why am I telling you every inch of the happening? Enough said already. You could've just said someone gave you a pen.

But did I tell you about the guy that looked at me, apart from the ones I asked the favor from? Or the lady that was consistently watching this all happen? Or the guy sitting on the lower berth as well, watching a movie and somehow trying to figure out what's going on as well? Or the kid that was crying while his dad was putting his shoes on?

Well to be honest, this is what struck me even harder. Between the time that I asked for the pen and received it, my focus was entirely on the pen. And the thoughts I would have possibly induced in their heads with that request. What amazed me was that despite all this, my attention shifted from the person to the other person; to the music that was playing in my headphones; to the fact that I now had a pen held in my hand. Well, I knew, but didn't know about anything that was happening. Nothing at all. But as I recalled it, I realized about everyone and everything that I was unconsciously aware of, but now I knew it had happened. And of course I realized I was breathing (look, I found it fascinating at that time; Give me a break). So, despite our everything, we never think of breathing. We never really remind ourselves to breathe.

Isn't that amazing?

Isn't that a beautiful, beautiful harmony? A song we knew but were not aware that we were constantly singing? So what exactly is it that we are fighting for? Why do we fail to realize that everything that we do, everything that we have been and all that we are, is nothing about what you or I did. Nothing at all is ever someone's. Just for once take my own example. I stepped into the train and looked at the people as I wondered what they might be thinking. While I was thinking what they might be thinking, I thought of a cause for how I was thinking about them, which ultimately made me think of a consciousness that exists for all of us. So, unlike I said earlier, these are not my thoughts. These were never in my head until I saw the people. And never would have I ever been able to write it down unless someone let me have their pen (my cell was dead. God c’mon! Give me a damn break!). And what are the odds that someone else could have been at their place and I might have never been able to realize it?

Base camp ain't the peak

Life is too fucking short to be a mediocre. I received a link from one of my friends to an article depicting how it is “Okay” to be a mediocre. You know, end up not being what you always wanted to be. Personally saying, congrats on being a failure. The world is a whole lot better without people like you and the articles like yours.

Okay, enough said. Now what exactly is a mediocre and what vision do we really have, on being and not being one. First off, being a mediocre does not mean that you have a, what you call it, middle class life, or you have a daughter to drop off at school before going to work and you can’t afford a driver to do so, coz you know, you’re a mediocre. No! Articles telling you it’s okay to be a mediocre are nothing but pieces of shit trying to grab your attention because they have nothing better to do, and no place to go. If only the authors could have put time to not find reasons for how it’s okay to sound like a failure, but instead dedicate everything and all of themselves into doing what really makes them happy, their world could have not been a better place to live. Thats what a mediocre does, find reasons to be okay with it.

Just for a situation, assume that you wanted to be something, say you wanted to be a businessman. You see the big picture in your head, right? Now, the next thing that comes to your mind is “How do I fucking make it there?” and you start finding answers to all the questions in your head, with a lot of charisma, enthusiasm and a desire. Because you have to be what never was! And more than anything, you need to develop a mind-set. Now, when you would have heard, watched, or read those “inspiring” people, one thing they always say is that you never give up. Or you never think about giving up or losing or what ifs and all. You see? There’s a reason why ALL of them tell you the same bloody thing. Because the moment you consider failure as your option, or a result, is the very moment you fail. Or you know, when you start considering other options, take engineering for an example.

The way I see this life is that, take a bar, for instance.
Say it looks something like this.

This is your life, in a bar. Now assume there is a dial, which keeps on moving back and forth horizontally in this bar.

Assume its 1/3rd of the size it looks

This dial, stops for a moment at every choice you make towards your goal. The big picture. Now, taking in mind the non-stop behavior of time, that bar above, keeps on expanding while the dial remains the same, but instead, it has an increment in the speed with which it moves. Now, every life has its ups and downs, so it would be unfair to ignore those facts too. Let’s say, the dial rotates too, in a variable phase with time. Well and good.

Now, take a green patch and a red patch. Assume that they are of variable shapes and sizes.

Take both of em a Whole lot smaller.

Say this is it for a situation that we talk about right now. The green patch is your goal, and the red patch is the choice you made to take a step forward to your goal. With the dial rotating and moving with varying speeds, and the bar expanding constantly, these patches keep changing shapes, sizes, and are in a constant, random movement, and they keep on appearing and disappearing with time. Until and unless the dial hits red, you can’t see green and with each good red, you get a bigger green.

So far, we have life, the goal, the stoppages, and the choices that we make to live the big picture. What we are missing right now is the black patch. Assume it to be anything, and everything. Take it to be like a pill, for example, you take one and everything around you turns black for a while, again for a variable time. And in this black, you can’t see shit. No goals, nothing. This black, is these kind of articles and all the negativity in your life that knowingly, or unknowingly propose to you the idea of a “give up”. Letting you find supporters and excuses for how it’s okay to give up on your dreams.

With each black pill you take, the green and the red deteriorates and the bar becomes unstable, leading to a non stop dial. What I want to say is that its people and things like these that lead you to keep failure as an option. There is a lot of black out there, a whole fucking lot. You just have to stay focussed. Tell me what are the odds that RIGHT BEFORE you read that article, you were about to make a big ass decision for yourself, you know, releasing that next product or something? But when you read that crap, you made a fool out of everything you have been doing for years. Everything that you were working for, is now a total waste. I mean what if tomorrow was the day that you were about to become what you have always wanted to. But just at 11:59pm, you gave up! This is how most of us fail.

Life is too short to be mediocre. Choose what you love and be the fucking best at it. And to me the sheer acceptance of this is too depressing. It is articles like these that are the stuff which "easily giving up" is made of. For example. He starts with superman. Then we talk about Michael Jordan and the likes of so. That seems a good progression for the article's point of view, but think about this: Michael Jordan, he spent hours and hours upon hours of his life to become what he is. Unlike superman, he wasn’t born this way. When they say he is the very best, Jordan, the reason for the same is not because nobody will ever possess the same powers. But think about it a little deeply and you will understand this: to find a guy with his build, and the decision and WILL to be better than Jordan himself is very, very less. Do u understand this? You either never start, or you die trying.
